picking up the pieces

sometimes, i think those HR agencies arent really very good and beneficial. yes, they may be the ones providing you with the jobs. BUT, they have their own terms and conditions that you have to follow too. for e.g. one of the terms stated that you cant accept any personal job offers from anyone within one year of contract with them otherwise you would have to pay a sum of $1000. if you were working on a part-time job in Hotel 123 and upon seeing that you are so diligent and hardworking, Hotel 123 decided to offer you a place in their hotel, you cant accept their offer, otherwise you would have breached the contract. personally, i feel that this isnt really attractive. what if a better job comes along? what if a job of your dreams decided to appear before your eyes within that year? do you breach the contract and pay the HR agency $1000 or do you reject the offer and see your dreams waving goodbye to you? for me, i dont want to make either one of the decisions. just a matter of perspective.

a day out with yujia and ting! i haven seen them for like a thousand years already. ever since we've graduated from swiss, we each have our own lives to lead. but i'm glad and thankful that we are still meeting up every once in awhile. i sort of miss our usual bickerings and chattings. haha. so, after much walking, we finally decided to settle down at a cafe in Paragon's for dinner. both the food and ambience was nice. err. we sort of celebrated tingting's belated birthday. ting, you must make use of your present hor. haha. went back to Lot 1's Mac for more chats. they sort of gave me a mini tutorial on mahjong. hohoho. i shall try my skills and luck on some online website when i'm free. i shall be the new mahjong queen. sorry.
